On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the Society of Saint Pius X will broadcast live from Écône the episcopal consecration ceremony during which four priests will be consecrated bishops.
The ceremony will be presided over by His Excellency Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta, principal consecrator, assisted by His Excellency Bishop Bernard Fellay as co-consecrator.
The bishops-elect are:
- Rev. Pascal Schreiber (Switzerland)
- Rev. Michael Goldade (United States)
- Rev. Michel Poinsinet de Sivry (France)
- Rev. Marc Hanappier (France)
To enable the faithful throughout the world to follow the ceremony in their own language, several live broadcasts with commentary will be available.
